Divine

Divine puts a hand-scraped, distressed finish on maple instead of oak. Maple has a tighter, quieter grain, so the scraping and distressing do most of the visual work and give each board a worn, lived-in feel. That surface hides everyday wear from kids, pets and chair legs far better than a smooth floor.

Boards measure 7-1/2" wide by 3/4" thick in random lengths, graded ABCD for a full range of natural character, with a 2 mm maple wear layer. Grandeur rates Divine for installation on, above or below grade, so it can go in a basement rec room as easily as a living room. It carries a 35 year residential limited warranty, and each box holds 25.77 sq ft.

The six colours run from light to dark. Taurus is natural and beige; Libra, Leo and Aries are taupe and brown; Scorpio adds black to taupe and brown; and Thunder Cloud is taupe, black and dark grey. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Divine across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
