Product Specifications
Owl is an engineered hickory floor from the Artisan collection by Grandeur. The boards are 6-1/2 inches wide and 3/4 of an inch thick in random lengths, with a 2 mm hickory veneer over an engineered core, which is what allows the floor to go on, above or below grade instead of main floors only. Colours are listed as taupe, black and brown, and the surface is brushed and hand scraped, a texture that disguises day to day marks better than a smooth board would. The grade is ABCD, so knots and grain character vary from piece to piece. A box covers 20.25 square feet and the residential warranty runs 35 years. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Owl across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
