Grandview works well in larger rooms, where its 7.5″ wide engineered white oak planks keep the floor from looking busy. Golden Choice gives the boards a distressed surface, so character is part of the look from the start and everyday wear adds to it instead of spoiling it. Thickness is 3/4″, lengths are random, and in metric the board is 190.5 mm wide. Engineered construction pairs a real oak face with a layered base that holds its shape better through dry winters than a solid board. When ordering, plan on 19.73 sq. ft. per carton plus extra for cuts; a full pallet of 50 cartons covers 986.5 sq. ft. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Grandview across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
