Hampshire is a 7½″ European Oak plank from Origins Flooring, and its ¾″ thickness makes a substantial board for family rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. The random lengths run from 16″ to 75″. On the surface you get a wirebrushed texture, a matte gloss and micro bevel edges, which together help everyday scratches blend in. Hampshire is approved on, above or below grade. It is a tongue and groove floor installed by nail and glue: we check that the subfloor is flat and dry, then glue and nail each board in place.
