Honey Red Oak

Excel and Prestige are the two grades you can order in Honey Red Oak, a smooth-faced red oak from the Signature collection. Once the grade is set, pick the construction. Engineered boards are 4" or 5" wide, offered at 11.4 mm and at 18.4 mm, and their layered make-up helps the floor stay flat as the seasons change, which is why many condo owners choose engineered. Solid boards are 3/4" thick, with widths from a narrow 2 1/4" through 3 1/4" to 4 1/4", and a solid floor can be refinished several times over the decades. To finish, pick ultra-matte for a low-sheen look or semi-gloss for a glossier surface. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Honey Red Oak across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails, or solid hardwood installation from $4.50 per square foot.
