Iris Essex, from Impressive Floors, is one of the Eterna collection planks built with an attached IXPE underlayment. That pad comes on every board, so installation skips the separate underlay, and it adds cushion underfoot. The sound figures are IIC-72 and STC-73. Size is 7" x 60" (180 mm x 1535 mm), and total plank thickness is 6.5 mm. The surface shows a wood grain, finished in UV cured acrylic, with a painted designer bevel on the 4 sides. Iris Essex joins with an engineered locking system and is approved for basements, main floors and top floors. Use is listed as residential and commercial.
