Macchiato is an engineered maple hardwood from NAF Floors@Work, made 18 mm thick. Engineered hardwood puts a real wood surface over a layered base, so it handles seasonal swings in humidity better than solid boards, which matters in Toronto homes where the heat runs all winter and summers are humid. The planks are 6.5″ wide and supplied in random lengths, so end joints land at different points and the floor reads like a traditional board layout. That width works in living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms alike. Each box covers 19.18 sq ft.
