Original Maple is part of the NAF 18mm Eng. Maple Hardwood collection from NAF Floors@Work. Here you get an 18 mm engineered plank, 6.5″ wide, in random lengths. Because engineered boards are built from several bonded layers under a wood wear surface, they cope well with the humidity changes that come with forced-air heating and summer air conditioning. We like that stability for large open areas, where a floor has more room to expand and contract. The random lengths also keep end joints from settling into a visible pattern. Each box of Original Maple covers 19.18 sq. ft., and there are 48 boxes on a pallet, useful when you are doing more than one room. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Original Maple across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
