Nantes is engineered oak meant for rooms that get used. The wire brushed face breaks up reflections, so dust, paw prints and light scratches are less obvious than they would be on a smooth, high shine floor, and the UV lacquer over it is a cured factory finish that stands up to regular cleaning. Each board is 15 mm thick and carries a 3.0 mm oak wear layer, deep enough to be refinished rather than torn out if the floor takes a beating. The planks are large, at 1900 mm long and 190 mm wide.
