Remora #2195

Remora is a good fit for basements, laundry rooms and kitchens, because it is SPC flooring from HydraLuxe Rigid's Oceania collection, and an SPC stone-composite core is waterproof. That core is 4 mm thick, made of 70% calcium carbonate and 30% vinyl, and it will not swell if water sits on it. Underneath is a 1 mm IXPE foam backing, for a total of 5 mm. The wood design has a medium embossed texture and mat gloss, with micro bevels on all four edges. A 0.3 mm wear layer under UV-cured polyurethane and ceramic bead technology is rated for heavy residential and light commercial use. Planks are 180 mm by 1220 mm and float on a Välinge 5Gi locking system. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Remora across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
