The plank measures 1/2 inch by 4 3/4 inches, a size that suits hallways, open living areas and smaller condos. Its 2 mm wear layer is the part that takes daily traffic, and the matte finish with 10% aluminum oxide gloss keeps reflections down. Micro bevels on four sides give each board a defined edge. This floor can be floated, glued or nailed, so it goes over plywood or concrete, on any level. Goodfellow asks that indoor humidity stay in the 30% to 65% range year round.
