Natural White Oak Wire Brushed is an engineered wood floor from Goodfellow's Riverside Heights collection, with white oak on top and a multi-ply tongue and groove core underneath. The build holds a board steadier through dry winters and humid summers than solid wood, as long as the room stays inside the 30% to 65% relative humidity Goodfellow asks for. The wear layer measures 2 mm, and the surface is matte with 10% aluminum oxide gloss, so light scuffs stay hidden. Boards run 1/2 inch thick, 4 3/4 inches across, with a micro bevel on four sides, and can be floated, glued or nailed on any level.
