Sandal, from Impressive Floors' Elegant Collection, is rated for residential and commercial use, with a lifetime residential warranty and 15 years commercial. Each plank is 60″ long and 7″ wide (1535 mm x 180 mm), 7.5 mm thick, and has a wood grain surface sealed with a UV cured acrylic finish. All four edges carry a painted designer bevel. An IXPE underlayment is attached to the back, so there is no separate pad to lay, and the floor is rated STC-73 for airborne sound and IIC-72 for impact noise. The engineered locking system lets it float over the subfloor on the main floor, on the top floor or in the basement.
