Beauflor's Xtreme collection covers U160L, a floor built around a fiberglass interlayer. Fiberglass gives the material body and keeps it from curling or shifting, which is part of why the line carries a heavy commercial abrasion rating. On top is a polyurethane lacquer surface over a 0.7 mm wear layer, enough for a busy kitchen, a basement family room or a small office. Certifications cover both air quality and content: FloorScore, E1 certified and phthalate free, which is worth knowing if what a floor gives off indoors matters to you.
