Product Specifications
Advance, a glazed porcelain from 1867 Floors, has a natural finish, and it comes in a 12" x 24" rectangle and a 24" x 24" square. The edges differ between them. The 12" x 24" is non-rectified, with pressed edges that call for a slightly wider grout joint. The 24" x 24" is rectified, ground to exact size after firing, so it can be set with narrow grout lines. Rectangles suit hallways and smaller rooms, and large squares open up a kitchen or basement floor with fewer joints. Being porcelain, it keeps water absorption low. Large tiles need a flat substrate, so we check the floor and correct any dips before we start setting. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Advance across Toronto and the GTA, with tile installation from $13.50 per square foot.
