About the collection
1867 Floors Tiles
This tile brand has 52 lines on our site, and most are porcelain, which is dense, absorbs very little water and holds up well on bathroom floors, kitchens, front entries and basements. A handful are wall tiles, including Metro, Evolve and Eternity (glazed ceramic, walls only) plus Jubilee, Jubilee Hex and Type. Keep those to backsplashes and bathroom walls.
Edges and finishes are the main differences. Rectified lines such as Techstone, Saint Lux and Brera have edges ground square for tight grout lines, while non-rectified lines like Napa, Kayak and Iwood need a slightly wider joint. Matt finishes give better grip on kitchen and bathroom floors. Polished lines such as Nü-Pür, Delicato and Apulia reflect more light but get slippery when wet, and Alloy and Nohva offer a lappato finish in between. Parker is listed with slip resistance, and Ceppo Di Grè is full body, so a chip shows the same colour underneath. Black Sahara is for residential use only.
