Parker

Parker is an unglazed porcelain tile from 1867 Floors with a matt finish, and slip resistance is listed among its features. Unglazed means there is no glass coating on top: the colour is in the tile body itself, so there is no surface glaze to wear through in busy spots. Together with the slip resistance, that makes Parker worth considering for entryways, mudrooms, laundry rooms and bathroom floors, where wet shoes and splashes are routine. The edges are rectified, trimmed to exact size after firing, so the tiles can be laid with narrow grout lines. As porcelain, Parker is dense and takes on very little moisture, which also suits a finished basement. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Parker across Toronto and the GTA, with tile installation from $13.50 per square foot.
