Product Specifications

Naked Walnut belongs to Vidar Design Flooring's 11 Inch American Black Walnut Collection. The planks are engineered multi-layer hardwood, 19mm thick, with a 4mm dry sawn cut layer of American black walnut on top. Each box covers 30.48 or 26.67 sq.ft and weighs 62 lbs, and skids hold 48 boxes. A Janka hardness of 1010 means walnut marks more easily than harder species, so it is best kept to living areas and bedrooms rather than entrances. Texture is smooth or wire brush. It can go over hydronic radiant heat and is Floorscore, CARB II, FSC and CE certified. Installation is nail down along the tongue and groove, ideally with glue assist. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Naked Walnut across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
