American Black Walnut 11 Collection

At 295 mm (11-2/3 inches) across and 19 mm thick, these are the broadest walnut boards Vidar offers on our site. The other big step up is the 4 mm dry sawn American Black Walnut veneer, which leaves more real wood above the engineered multi-layer core than the narrower walnut lines carry.

Planks this size make sense in large, open rooms, where fewer seams let the grain read as one surface. You can order them smooth or wire brushed, under BONA UV lacquer with micro bevelled edges, in a smooth or ultra matte gloss level. For a busy household, a wire brushed matte board is the more forgiving pick. Grade choices are Character, Select and Select and Better, and in-floor hydronic radiant heat is fine underneath. Depending on the product, a box holds 26.67 or 30.48 sq ft.

Choose between Natural and Naked Walnut. 22FLOORING supplies and installs American Black Walnut 11 Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
