Versailles Flooring Collection

Versailles is a panel floor rather than a plank floor. The width is listed simply as Versailles, the square pattern of interlocking wood pieces associated with French parquet, and here it is made from European Oak, 3/4 inch thick, with a 4 mm veneer and a wirebrushed surface.

Panels like these are a feature floor and suit a formal living room, dining room, library or front hall. Installation is slower and more exacting than planks, since the layout has to be squared to the room and started from the centre so the pattern lines up evenly at the walls. The grade is Select and Better, which keeps the pattern crisp. A 4 mm wear layer also gives more wood to work with if the floor is refinished years from now.

Choose from Yukon, Toffee Crunch and Clear. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Versailles Flooring Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
