American Black Walnut Collection

A 9/16 inch thick board with a 7 1/2 inch width makes this a slimmer walnut plank than most of Vidar's other walnut lines. The top layer is a 3 mm American Black Walnut veneer, and each board is wirebrushed, which opens the grain slightly and gives the surface a gentle texture you can feel underfoot.

A slimmer engineered plank is useful where floor height matters, such as beside existing tile, at door thresholds or in a condo, because there is less to trim and the transitions stay low. The wirebrushed face also helps hide light scratches from pets, chair legs and toys. Grades run from Character through Select to Select and Better, so you can decide between a floor with more knots and natural colour change or a more uniform look.

Provence and Natural are the two colours. 22FLOORING supplies and installs American Black Walnut Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
