American Black Walnut 9 Collection

At 9 inches (230 mm), this is a good width if you want a wide-plank walnut floor without going to the largest boards. The planks are 18 mm thick, with a 3 mm dry sawn walnut surface bonded to an engineered multi-layer backing.

You can order Character grade, which shows knots and stronger colour variation, or the cleaner Select and Select and Better grades. The texture is wire brushed or smooth, finished with BONA UV lacquer at a smooth or ultra matte gloss level and a micro bevel between boards. Random lengths begin at 15.75 inches. Depending on the product, a box holds 20.3 or 23.77 sq ft. The floor is rated for hydronic radiant heat, which matters if your home has heated slabs or in-floor heating loops.

The colours are Natural and Naked Walnut. 22FLOORING supplies and installs American Black Walnut 9 Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
