American Black Walnut 6 Collection

The narrowest of Vidar's American Black Walnut planks, this line is 6 inches (152 mm) wide and 18 mm thick, with a 2 mm dry sawn walnut veneer on an engineered multi-layer base. A 6 inch board keeps the scale right in bedrooms, hallways and smaller rooms, where a very wide plank can look oversized.

Lengths are random, starting at 15.75 inches, so the end joints stagger the way a traditional hardwood floor does. The line is sold only in Select and Select and Better grades, which means fewer knots and a more even look. Vidar applies BONA UV lacquer in ultra matte with a micro bevel, over your choice of a smooth or wire brushed surface. One box covers 18.75 sq ft, and the planks can be installed over hydronic radiant heat.

It comes in Provence and Natural. 22FLOORING supplies and installs American Black Walnut 6 Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
