American Oak 5 Chevron Collection

Chevron is a pattern floor: the boards have angled ends and meet in a continuous V that runs down the room. In this Vidar line each piece is American White Oak, 5 inches (125 mm) wide and ¾ inch (18 mm) thick, cut to a fixed length with a 3 mm dry sawn veneer over an engineered multi-layer core.

Pattern floors take more layout time than straight planks, since the installer marks centre lines and works outward to keep the points straight. They tend to go where they will be seen, like an entrance, dining room or living room. This line is Select and Better grade only, for a clean, even face that lets the pattern stand out. The wire brushed surface carries an ultra matte BONA UV lacquer and a micro bevel, and the floor is hydronic radiant heat compatible. Boxes cover 13.46 or 14.53 sq ft and weigh 36 or 40 lbs.
