Chevron floors are laid in a repeating V, and Moon Light from Vidar Design Flooring brings that pattern to real American white oak. This is engineered multi-layer hardwood topped with a 3mm dry sawn veneer, a genuine oak surface. Planks are 5" wide and ¾" thick in fixed lengths, with a wire brushed surface and ultra matte Bona UV lacquer. We nail the tongue and groove boards down with glue assist. Moon Light works over hydronic radiant heat, and its ideal humidity range is 40%-50%, which in a Toronto winter usually means running a humidifier.
