Product Specifications
Appalachian is PVC laminate rather than wood, which is why it can go into a basement or a back entry where humidity would be hard on a solid floor. The planks are big, 1524 mm long and 229 mm wide, at 5 mm thick, with a brushed emboss face and a 12 mil wear layer. They are dryback, so they get glued to the subfloor, and that means prep work first, since adhesive needs a flat, clean, dry surface to grip. Boxes hold 22.5 sf each, useful when counting how many to order. Cover is a limited 20 years for homes and a limited 10 years for commercial floors. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Appalachian across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
