Product Specifications
Most of the work in an Artic Breeze floor happens before the first tile is set: the dryback backing has to bond to a flat, dry, clean subfloor, so we grind, patch and vacuum first. After that the 24" x 12" tiles are laid into adhesive, 20 sf to a carton. Each one runs 5 mm thick, brushed emboss on the face, under a 12 mil wear layer, built as LVT on PVC laminate by XL Flooring. A glued tile floor has no hollow sound and no movement, which suits busy entries and small wet rooms. XL warrants it a limited 20 year residential and a limited 10 year commercial. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Artic Breeze across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
