Product Specifications
Knots and board-to-board variation are part of what you get with Desert Ark, a character grade European oak from Biyork. Its Nouveau 6 collection is engineered hardwood, and these planks come 3/4" thick and 6-1/2" wide, in random lengths. A wirebrushed finish textures the oak, and an anti-bacterial coating covers the surface. If you want wood in a lower level, Desert Ark is rated below grade as well as on and above grade. It is compatible with radiant heat too. The floor holds FloorScore certification, which relates to indoor air quality, and Biyork includes a 30-year residential warranty. It is a practical match for open main floors and lower-level family rooms alike. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Desert Ark across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
