Plateau is engineered hardwood made with European oak, sold in Biyork's Nouveau 7 collection. Here is what its specifications mean for your home. The 3/4" thickness and 7-1/2" width give a solid, wide-plank floor, laid in random lengths. Character grade oak includes knots and variation, and wirebrushing adds a tactile texture. A tongue and groove system joins each board to the next. Because it is approved on, above or below grade, Plateau can run from a basement rec room up to the bedrooms.
