Nouveau 7

Step up to a 7-1/2" board and you get Nouveau 7, a 3/4" thick engineered plank in European oak or hickory. The wider face shows more grain per board and suits larger living rooms and open main floors. Lengths are random, and the character grade means knots and natural colour shifts are expected rather than a flaw.

Boards are joined with tongue and groove and rated for use on, above or below grade. Most are wirebrushed; Havana Coffee and Derby are listed as wirebrushed or handscraped. Both textures take the edge off everyday scuffs from dogs and chair legs. All twelve colours carry an anti-bacterial coating. The spec sheets also show FloorScore certification and a 30-year residential warranty.

In European oak you can pick Barrel Char, French Truffle, Plateau, Southern Ridge, Sunlit Ivory, Tribeca or Wheated Dram, and in hickory Derby, Distant Prairie, Evening Barnyard, Havana Coffee or Summer Saloon. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Nouveau 7 across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
