Product Specifications
Distant Prairie brings hickory into Biyork's Nouveau 7 collection. It is engineered hardwood, 3/4" thick, with wide 7-1/2" planks in random lengths. Hickory at character grade has knots and natural variation, while wirebrushing adds a textured surface. Planks join on a tongue and groove system. It can be installed on, above or below grade, so it is an option for a basement family room as well as main and upper floors. Biyork applies an anti-bacterial coating, and indoor air quality is FloorScore certified. A 30-year residential warranty is included. If you have kids or a dog, a textured floor with natural knots tends to hide small marks better than a smooth, clear one. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Distant Prairie across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
