The difference here is the joint. Nouveau 6 CLIC boards connect with a click profile instead of tongue and groove, and at 1/2" thick they are the slimmer choice within Nouveau 6. Click boards join without nailing, which helps over concrete in condos and basements, and the boards can be laid on, above or below grade.

Each board is 6-1/2" wide in random lengths, with a wirebrushed finish and character grade wood, so knots and grain changes show through. An anti-bacterial coating is applied to the surface. The European oak colours are compatible with radiant heat, while the two hickory colours are not, which matters if you are planning heated floors. Every colour lists a 30-year residential warranty and FloorScore certification for indoor air quality.
