Product Specifications
Silk Palace is a floating SPC plank from Biyork's HydroGen 5 collection. SPC stands for a rigid stone-composite core, and this one has a 100% waterproof structure, so it is a safe bet for kitchens, powder rooms and basements. The planks are 7" x 48" and 5mm overall, with a 0.3mm wear layer. They lock together with a click system, so there is no glue or nailing, and they can go on, above or below grade. Silk Palace is compatible with radiant heat. Biyork suggests pairing it with UnderTone underlayment for a quieter floor. The wear warranty is 25 years residential and 5 years light commercial, and the floor is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Silk Palace across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
