Burnside 00627 Repel By Shaw Floors

Burnside (00627) is an engineered maple floor in Shaw's Ocala style, SW590, finished with Shaw's Repel water-resist coating. A 1.2 mm maple veneer sits on top, and the whole plank is 3/8″ thick. Boards are 5″ wide and run anywhere from 10″ to 58.5″ long, so the end joints stagger naturally across the room. The edges are pillowed and the surface is smooth, with a 40% gloss level that gives a soft sheen. Shaw rates this style for above, on and below grade, and it can go over radiant heat. It can be nailed, stapled, glued or floated, so we choose the fixing method that suits your subfloor.
