About the collection
Repel Collection by Shaw Floors Engineered Hardwood
Nearly every plank in this group carries the Repel water-resistant finish from Shaw Floors, and that is the main reason to pick it. Spills, wet boots and pet bowls still need wiping, but the finish buys you time. That makes these engineered floors a sensible choice for kitchens, entryways and busy family homes.
Most styles are hickory or oak, with red maple in Inspirations Maple. Widths mostly sit between 5" and 9.25", including mixed-width Pebble Hill, and the 7" and 9.25" styles come in lengths up to 82.5". Planks are 3/8" or 1/2" thick with a 1.2 mm or 2 mm veneer, and the face is usually wirebrushed or scraped, which disguises wear. Edges are pillowed, bevelled or micro-bevelled. Nail, staple, glue or float: every style allows all four, is rated above, on or below grade, and suits radiant heat.
There are 102 colours, including Pumice, Horizon, Heritage, Denali and Hearth. 22FLOORING supplies and installs the Repel Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
