The wear layer on Constellation measures 0.5 mm, or 20 mil, over an embossed surface, and that is what keeps daily grit from dulling the finish. It is an engineered luxury vinyl tile in the SmartDrop Elite Tile collection by Fuzion, SKU VSE1272, 5 mm thick and cut at 18" x 36" with square edges. Fitting options are loose lay, glued down, perimeter glue or perimeter tape. Glued tile needs a smooth, dry base, so we check levels and fill low spots first. Constellation holds up on, above or below grade, which puts basements in range, and it is compatible with hydronic radiant heat. Each carton covers 36 sq ft at 66 lbs. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Constellation across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
