Crescent Beach (01023) is a Shaw Floors birch hardwood from the Biscayne Bay style, SW520, suited to a busy family home. The scraped texture and UV aluminum oxide finish at 20% gloss are forgiving with kids and pets, since small marks blend into the worked surface. It is engineered, with a 1.2 mm birch veneer on a 3/8″ plank. Boards are 5″ wide and between 13.8″ and 47.24″ long, with micro bevel edges and moderate colour variation. It is approved for radiant heat and for above, on or below grade, and it can be nailed, stapled, glued or floated.
