Empire Foundation Premium By Twelve Oaks

Empire is a light grey tile-format vinyl, 12″ x 24″ per piece, from Twelve Oaks' Foundation Premium collection. Its 20 mil (0.5 mm) wear layer is the thick end of what you find in residential vinyl, so it earns its place in a front hall or a rental unit. The tiles are 3/16″ thick and glued down, which means the subfloor has to be flat and clean first, since any dip or ridge underneath will telegraph through a floor this thin. Twelve Oaks lists low colour variation and a micro V-bevelled edge. One box covers 20.1 sq ft. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Empire across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
