Vidar Design Flooring gives an ideal humidity range of 40%–50% and an ideal temperature of 68°F – 72°F, so in a Toronto winter a humidifier helps keep the boards settled. It is engineered multi-layer hardwood, European white ash on top in a 2 mm dry sawn cut layer, from the collection Vidar calls 6 Inch European White Ash. Boards are 152 mm x 18 mm, wire brushed and micro bevelled, with an ultra matte BONA UV lacquer. Sandy is nailed down along its tongue and groove edges, glue assist recommended, and is hydronic radiant heat compatible.
