Ebony pairs European white ash with a wire brushed texture and ultra matte BONA UV lacquer, one of the colours Vidar Design Flooring offers in its 7 Inch line. Beneath that finish, 3 mm of dry sawn ash is bonded to an engineered multi-layer structure, and the floor can sit over hydronic radiant heat. Planks are 195 mm wide and 18 mm thick, in random lengths from 600 mm to 1910 mm, with micro bevel edges. Ebony is nail-down with tongue and groove joints, and glue assist is recommended. Vidar warrants the finish for 35 years, limited, and the structure for life.
