At 4.4 mm total thickness, Fairhaven combines an SPC core with a 1.0000 mm EVA foam backing, and it is part of the Tidal Nature collection by HydraLuxe Rigid. SPC stands for a rigid stone-composite core, and this one is 70% calcium carbonate and 30% vinyl, so the floor is waterproof. That opens up entryways, powder rooms and below-grade rec rooms. The foam backing means no separate underlay, and sound ratings are IIC 71 and STC 72. Fairhaven floats using a Välinge 2G angle-to-angle locking system. The wood design has a medium embossed texture, a mat gloss and 4-sided micro bevels, and a wear layer of 0.0120" is rated for heavy residential and light commercial use.
