For a basement, main floor or second storey, Ashen from the Fuzion Dynamix XL 3DGE collection is rated for on, above or below grade installation. It is a floating luxury vinyl plank, so it goes down without glue, and it is suitable over hydronic radiant heat. The construction stacks a 1.8mm LVT layer over a 5mm WPC core, with 1.5mm of cork as the base. The wear surface is 0.55mm, or 22mil, with an embossed finish and UV coating. At 9" wide, 60" long and 8 3/10mm thick, the planks have 3DGE painted bevelled edges. Ashen is FloorScore certified and comes with a 15-year heavy commercial warranty as well as limited lifetime residential coverage. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Ashen across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
