Product Specifications
If you want a vinyl plank you can put in a basement over warm-water radiant heat, Rye is worth a look. This SmartDrop Elite + 7 plank from Fuzion is rated on, above or below grade and is suitable for hydronic systems. It measures 7" wide by 48" long and 5mm thick, with a 20mil (0.5mm) surface layer and an embossed in register finish. Rye goes down by loose lay, full glue, perimeter glue or perimeter tape rather than clicking together. Warranty terms include 15-year limited heavy commercial wear, so a home is well within its range. Each carton covers 23.33 sq. ft. and weighs 39.5 lbs, and the plank carries FloorScore certification for indoor air quality. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Rye across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
