Kootenay is Goodfellow's American hickory in the Prime Collection, shown here in the Roasted Caramel colour. The boards are 1/2″ thick and 7 1/2″ wide, with a 2 mm wear layer of hickory on the face. Hickory is a hard, dense species, which is part of why it turns up in busy family rooms and hallways. A soft wire-brushed, low-gloss finish carrying 10% aluminum oxide handles the scratching, and micro-bevels on four sides outline every plank. The warranty runs 25 years residential.
