Prime Collection

Goodfellow's Prime Collection gives you three different builds under one name. The American hickory colours, Kootenay and Roasted Caramel, are 1/2 inch thick with a 2 mm wear layer. The European oak colours, Sussex and Aged Oak, step up to 3/4 inch with a 3 mm wear layer, and both of these pairs are 7 1/2 inches wide. Petrified Oak is 9/16 inch thick and 6 1/2 inches wide, with a 4 mm wear layer.

Every colour has a soft wire-brushed, low-gloss surface with 10% aluminum oxide and micro-bevelled edges on all four sides. A thicker wear layer leaves more wood for sanding and refinishing down the road, so the 3 mm and 4 mm boards suit a home you plan to stay in. Hickory and oak are both hard, busy-grained woods that stand up well to kids and pets.

The line carries a 25-year residential warranty. Over radiant heat, only glycol (hot water) systems are compatible, so electric in-floor heat is not an option. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Prime Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
