Product Specifications
Petrified Oak sits in Goodfellow's Prime Collection as an engineered board 9/16″ thick and 6 1/2″ wide, slightly narrower than the rest of the range, and it carries a 4 mm wear layer. That is a deep layer of solid wood above the core, which matters in a hallway or a kitchen that sees years of traffic. Its surface is wire-brushed and held at low gloss, with 10% aluminum oxide mixed in for scratch resistance, over micro-bevelled edges on four sides. It is covered by a 25-year residential warranty. In-floor heating is fine provided the system runs on glycol. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Petrified Oak across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
