Malay #2320

Malay is style 2320 in the Archipel line from HydraLuxe, a hickory-look plank built on an SPC core. That core is 5 mm of calcium carbonate and vinyl, rigid and waterproof, and a 1.5 mm cork layer is bonded to the underside; together they make up the 6.5 mm board. Cork takes the hard edge off a rigid floor underfoot and helps the sound scores, listed at IIC 73 and STC 72. The top surface is UV-cured polyurethane with ceramic bead technology in a mat gloss, rated for general commercial use, so a home office or a busy hallway is well within range. Each 228 mm by 1830 mm plank drop-locks into the next and floats. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Malay across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
