Marseille is one of Simba's engineered oak floors, built at 12 mm with a 1.2 mm oak wear layer over a stable core. Each plank measures 190 mm wide by 1900 mm long, a size that fills open concept main floors without a lot of short offcuts. The face has a wire brushed finish, so the oak grain stands up slightly and daily marks blend into the texture. A UV lacquer, cured at the plant, seals the wood against spills and normal cleaning. Installation can be a glue down over concrete or a nail down over plywood, and we prepare the subfloor either way. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Marseille across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
