Paisley Red Oak

Paisley Red Oak is a red oak floor from Alta Moda, sold both as solid hardwood and as engineered hardwood, and knowing where each one belongs saves trouble later. Solid wood should stay above grade, so it is not the one for a basement. The engineered build is layered, which limits movement from moisture and temperature changes, and it is offered in widths of 4" or 5", with 11.4 mm or 18.4 mm thickness. The solid build comes 3/4" thick with widths of 3 1/4" or 4 1/4". Either way, Paisley has a brushed texture and a flat sheen.
