Linen Red Oak

Before we install Linen Red Oak, the boxes spend time in your home so the wood can adjust to the indoor air, and we check that the subfloor is flat and dry. This Alta Moda floor is red oak with a brushed texture and flat sheen. It is sold in solid construction, with 3/4" boards in 3 1/4" or 4 1/4" widths, and in engineered construction, 11.4 mm or 18.4 mm thick and either 4" or 5" wide. Solid boards are usually nailed or stapled down to a wood subfloor. The engineered version handles humidity changes with less movement. Grades are Excel or Prestige. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Linen Red Oak across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails, or solid hardwood installation from $4.50 per square foot.
